2008 reunion
Looks like we are going to try to get together in the July 14 - 16th. In an attempt to maximize participation, I thought we should start a blog thread to determine when, where and what we should plan. Should we plan something in the Elm Grove area? The Dells? La Crosse? Hawaii? or someplace else? Do we want to just plan a picnic kind of thing for an afternoon, or should we plan a few things over a couple of days? I am guessing that LA won't want to make the trip to Wisconsin for just a two hour lunch. Let me know what you think and where and when you will be available. Once we have some input here, we can put some plans together. Be sure to pass this info on if you know any others from our class. The more the merrier as they say. - Mitch

I would love to have a get together somewhere in the milwaukee area during that time frame.
As I indicated in the other forum, I will be attending the ELCA Global Mission Event in LaCrosse July 17-20; thus the suggestion to meet a little farther west. But I am perfectly willing to meet nearer to Elm Grove. My car gets 50 mpg.
I am guessing that like Todd, during the week will be hard for most people to do a road trip... but what about planning 1 day in the Dells and the next day something at Eric's house? I haven't talked to Eric about this, but he has offered up his house a few times for a party. If that doesn't work for Eric, we can figure something else out. Anyways... then John could stop and spend one day in the Dells before driving the rest of the way to Milwaukee. Does that work for you John, or would you rather just do it in one shot? Do you really get 50 mpg? I have a motorcycle that only get 45 mpg.
